Hi, I’m Lucy the artist that paints books because that is how obsessed I am with them.

I have loved reading since I was a child which continued as I discovered more & more amazing books to escape into.  I like reading many different genres but my favourite is historical fiction with some romance thrown in.

I have been a painter all my life but a few years ago I took a break from it to raise my two daughters. Then as they grew older I realised how much I missed it and made it my goal to become a full time artist.

The idea for my custom Book Stacks paintings came from a painting I did as a gift.

Back in 2024 I decided to paint a stack for my  friends 40th Birthday of her 5 favourite books. She loved it so much I thought I would share the book love and start offering Personalised Book Stack commissions.

Ever since I have been painting Custom Book Stacks for fellow book lovers which I love especially as each one is completely unique and I always look forward to seeing which books you choose.

I believe the stories you love deserve more than just a place on a shelf so why not hang them in your home as well.  I also hope that through my book art I can encourage people to read more in this tech heavy world we live in. Books are such a magical part of being human and I love celebrating that in my paintings.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your own Book Stack Commission today.
